Stripe / Web Checkout - Q3 2026 Update
Version: WebSubs v1.1 | Last updated: October 6, 2026 | Effective date: October 25, 2026
This Addendum applies when you purchase a PadsPass subscription or service using web checkout (for example, Stripe or another web payment provider). It is incorporated into the PadsPass Master Terms.
Your checkout and receipt identify the PadsPass contracting entity or merchant of record and the applicable payment processor. If the checkout or receipt identifies a PadsPass affiliate for the transaction, that entity is the contracting party for that purchase, subject to the PadsPass Master Terms and applicable Modular Terms. PadsPass does not store full payment card numbers; payment providers handle payment card data.
The price, billing cadence, currency, any applicable taxes, and the product or service being purchased are displayed at checkout. Unless checkout expressly states otherwise, a subscription renews automatically at the disclosed cadence until canceled. The checkout terms for a specific transaction control over inconsistent promotional copy regarding price or renewal mechanics.
If PadsPass offers a free trial, introductory price, discount code, partner code, or other promotion, the checkout should state the duration or eligibility, the amount charged during the promotion (if any), the price or pricing basis after the promotion, the renewal cadence, any material exclusions, and how to cancel. A promotion does not change the underlying renewal or cancellation terms unless expressly stated at checkout.
Partner or campaign codes may be used for discount eligibility and attribution. Unless expressly stated, use of a partner code does not make the partner the seller of the PadsPass subscription and does not guarantee any airline, government, veterinary, travel, or partner outcome.
Web purchases are canceled through the PadsPass billing portal or the cancellation instructions provided at checkout or in your receipt. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues through the end of the current paid period unless otherwise stated at checkout or required by law. Account deletion is a separate process and does not automatically cancel a subscription unless PadsPass expressly confirms cancellation.
Refund eligibility, if any, is governed by the applicable service terms, checkout terms, and mandatory consumer protections. Contact PadsPass support before initiating a chargeback so PadsPass has an opportunity to investigate and resolve a billing issue. Nothing in this Addendum limits a non-waivable consumer right.
PadsPass may retain payment-provider transaction identifiers internally for payment reconciliation, accounting, tax, refund, dispute, chargeback, security, fraud-prevention, and acceptance-evidence purposes. For advertising conversion measurement, PadsPass may use a separate opaque internal order identifier rather than transmitting a raw payment-provider transaction identifier where technically workable, as described in the Privacy Policy and Cookie & Tracking Notice.
